Patty has been riding since 1985, she started taking lessons as an adult and then within 6 months owned two horses and has been involved with horses ever since. She competed in lower level dressage, combined training, hunter jumpers, endurance riding, ride and tie and continues to trail ride. She moved to Cool in 1994 where she met Heidi at the barn where they both boarded their horses. A lasting friendship developed and they continue to ride together and camp with their horses whenever possible. Currently Patty and her daughter Whitney own six horses - Rafael a 26 year old Luisitano /thoroughbred cross who is retired, Hana a 4yr old Selle Francois, Ben a 10 yr old Morgan who is Patty's main riding horse plus Whitney's ponies Indian Summer (who Whitney does 3 day eventing on through Pony Club) , Dusty (the 31 yr old pony) plus a new paint mare Denali who Whitney will also compete on in Pony Club.
